Support Local Nonprofits!

CanDo’s Napa Valley Give!Guide is one powerful way we support fellow Napa County nonprofits. Created by our volunteers, this year-end campaign raises funds and awareness, fosters collaboration among nonprofits, and cultivates an ever-larger community of givers.

Since 2013, CanDo’s Give!Guide has raised $6,171,681 for local nonprofit organizations, with donations beginning at $10. 2023 was the best year so far, raising $1,224,682 from 1,475 donations! And with the exception of online credit card transaction fees, every penny goes to the organizations selected by each donor. CanDo takes no fee for orchestrating the project.

Information for Nonprofit Organizations

How does a nonprofit organization apply to participate in CanDo’s Give!Guide?

Has your nonprofit been in a previous G!G? If yes, you’ll automatically receive an email from us. New NPOs that are interested in applying for the first time should email a brief letter of interest to GiveGuide@nvcando.org. We will let you know when a mandatory orientation takes place in the spring. Then, stay in touch. You can do this in one of three ways:

How are organizations selected to participate?

Organizations are selected by CanDo’s Napa Valley Give!Guide selection committee. It consists of Give!Guide volunteers and community members. To apply, nonprofits must have 501(c)3 status, must have been operating for at least two years, and must serve Napa County.

Typically, we include a range of organizations in the categories of Animals, Arts & Culture, Community, Education, Environment, Health & Wellness, and Youth & Seniors. We include organizations of all sizes and from throughout Napa County. CanDo is also dedicated to including organizations new to the Give!Guide each year.
