You can easily create a website shortcut that looks like an app. And it doesn’t matter what kind of phone you have. Even works on an iPad! |
Step 1: Using Safari, navigate to www.nvcando.org. Step 2: Tap the center Share icon (the box with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen. Step 3: Select the option labeled Add to Home Screen. Step 4: Edit the name for your icon, if preferred (we recommend NV CanDo). This is the text that will appear under your shortcut’s icon on the home screen. Then click Add at the top-right corner of the screen. Step 5: Tap Add to close the Add to Home Screen window. To find your shortcut, close Safari and swipe over to the last page of your Home screen. The shortcut icon is usually the same as the icon you see beside the website’s URL. |

Step 5: Tap Add and the shortcut will now be on your home screen. |
